These terms govern your use of Neo Baby. By downloading or using the app, you agree to them. In summary, use the app as intended, your data is yours, and we're not liable for data loss or medical decisions.
Who can use Neo Baby
Neo Baby is intended for use by adults (18 or older), typically parents, guardians, or caregivers. By using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
What Neo Baby is and isn't
Neo Baby is a personal tracking tool to help caregivers log and organize baby-related activities. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical advice.
Always consult a qualified healthcare provider, such as your pediatrician, for any health concerns about your child. Do not make medical decisions based solely on data logged in this app.
Your data
The data you enter into Neo Baby (your baby's name, activities, notes, and growth records) belongs to you. We don't claim ownership of it.
Most data is stored locally on your device. If you use the sharing feature, some data is synced via Firebase. You can delete your data at any time from within the app. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how data is handled.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Neo Baby only for its intended purpose. You may not:
Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or redistribute the app
Use the app in any way that violates applicable laws
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the app or its infrastructure
Share your account access (if applicable) with anyone other than trusted co-caregivers
Intellectual property
Neo Baby, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond using the app as described here.
Disclaimer of warranties
Neo Baby is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep the app working reliably, but we can't guarantee it will be error-free or available at all times.
We are not responsible for any loss of data due to device failure, app crashes, accidental deletion, or other technical issues. We strongly recommend keeping your own records for anything critical.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Neo Baby, including but not limited to data loss, missed care events, or decisions made based on app data.
Our total liability to you for any claim related to the app will not exceed the amount you paid for it (if anything).
Termination
You can stop using Neo Baby at any time by deleting the app. We reserve the right to suspend or discontinue access to the app, or any part of it, at any time, with or without notice, though we'll do our best to give advance warning for significant changes.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Continuing to use Neo Baby after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The latest version will always be posted at https://neobabyapp.com/terms with the "last updated" date at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. If you're located in another country, local laws may also apply.
